The Walsall Manor Hospital project enabled me to develop my ideas for larger works in public spaces. Supported by an Arts Council Grants For the Arts; I worked with the Hosptial arts co-ordinator and participants at Walsall Breast Cancer Care Support Group to evolve ideas for an artwork within the Hospital. I went off to The Isle Of Wight to complete the final pieces, using the industrial enamelling processes at A J Wells Factory. www.ajwells.co.uk

The residency was part of ‘Making Moves II’ regional programme of nine residencies - www.makingmoves.org Part of my residency was introducing jewellery making within a school and part working alongside Andrew MacGowan at Regent Silversmiths. The residency allowed me to learn new skills and further develop existing skills, taking my ideas into objects for future development within my artistic practice. The residency culminated with the commissioning of this Silver Morph Vessel.
